With increased mining activity driving growing economic opportunities across western NSW, EMS Group Director Tom Cavanagh says the future is looking bright for the region.
“At EMS we’ve seen a lot of increased demand for our services and equipment from the regional mining sector”, Mr Cavanagh said.
“Last year we had more than 70 machines on over 20 regional mine sites and NSW tunnelling projects. In 2018 we expect that increase that number to 100 machines in every state of Australia.
“That’s great news for the region.
“We’re obviously a national business, but this year is definitely a local and regional growth story.
“Our Dubbo workshop has undergone a major extension to accommodate the increased regional demand.
“Our national field service capability is being increasingly drawn upon by mines in western NSW.
“We are excited to be part of an exciting regional economic growth story here in Western NSW.”
