AIMEX reminds business to stay open to growth

EMS Group was among more than 350 companies that attended the 2017 Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX).

More than 4,900 people attended the three-day event, held at the Sydney Showground from 29 – 31 August, including many Asian, European and North American exhibitions and visitors.

EMS Group Director, Tom Cavanagh, said the exhibition was a worthwhile experience.

“This was the first time that EMS Group has attended AIMEX,” he said.

“We’re extremely committed to servicing our existing clients, anticipating their needs and delivering solutions in a way no other company can.

“This was an opportunity for us to catch up with some of those clients, showcase our full range of services, and meet new people who we can offer a great deal of assistance.”

Tom said EMS Group’s solutions-focussed approach meant the whole team benefited in other ways.

“We met several exhibitors who offered products or services that could assist us to further enhance our business, which will allow us to better service our clients, and that’s what it’s all about,” he said.

An open mind to solutions would help ensure the ongoing growth and success of any business, Tom said.

“You mustn’t become complacent; just because you’ve always done something one way, doesn’t mean it’s still the best way.

“At EMS Group we continually investigate our options and strive to do things better, while remaining focussed on our vision, our employees, and our clients.”
