The rise and growth of EMS Electrical

In January 2017, EMS Group established a dedicated Electrical division to service to specific needs of hardrock underground mining. Today, this division is providing specialised labour, project work and/or electrical component supplies and services to mine sites, tunnel operations, and major civil infrastructure projects in NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, and WA.

These projects, clients and sites include, but are not limited to:

  • NorthConnex
  • WestConnex
  • CGT Ballarat Gold
  • A1 Gold
  • CCP Power Projects
  • Endeavor
  • CSA Glencore
  • Halls Creek, WA
  • Maldon Mine, VIC
  • Manuka Resources
  • Peak Gold Mine
  • Tritton
  • Tru-Flow
  • and more.

EMS Group began as a field service mechanic operation in 2010 and soon grew to full service workshop.

As client relationships developed, EMS Group has constantly sought ways to provide a complete solution offering.

Over the years, the company has expanded its service offering, which today comprises machinery sales, equipment fleet (currently 70+), labour hire, parts sales and, more recently, electrical.

The division now comprises almost 20 employees and offers services including cable repair, trialing cable exchange, engineering and project support and more.

The vision of EMS Group has always been clear: “To keep our customers up and running; to minimise their downtime and increase productivity.”

A diversified and complementary product and service offering has further ensured sustained growth through ongoing relationship development, client base expansion, and financial security and capability.
