EMS Wins Grant & Unveils New Website

EMS utilised this grant money to expand its online business and launched their new website on Monday the 1st September.

Business Development Grant applicants were judged by an independent panel of three and determined based on customer insight, knowledge of their market environment and recognition of growth opportunities.

EMS have released this new website along with their new branding; a revitalised image to showcase their vision and values of being a leading, innovative brand, focused on serving industries with ease and supporting the local community.

Tom Cavanagh, Director of EMS says “we’re committed to pushing forward into the online market and increasing our use of online media.” EMS is expecting an income source of 40% generated from this new website of which the website is targeted to:

  • Have a full online e-commerce store with approximately 1,000 products available for worldwide delivery
  • Have login portals for staff, candidates and customers
  • Have full specifications of machinery available with pictures and information to easily access, view and share via social media or email.
  • Social media networking, with integrated marketing communication initiatives utilised
  • CRM system
  • Responsive mobile site

Dubbo City Council’s Economic Development Officer, Jacki Parish, said EMS Group was the successful recipient of a $10,000 grant through the Your Dubbo business development program.

“We had 91 businesses register for the program, which included four business development workshops, direct customer feedback, and the opportunity to apply for one of three $10,000 business development grants,” Ms Parish said.

With its grant funding, EMS engaged local business Bosweb Systems to redevelop the company’s website.
