Tom is the founder of EMS Group. A diesel mechanic by trade with extensive, hands-on experience in underground mining, Tom has built a solutions-focussed company supported by a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals committed to Tom’s vision for EMS: to keep our customers up and running; to minimise their downtime and increase productivity.
Craig is a third-generation electrician with a wealth of experience in underground and surface mining across Australia. In his 30+ years in the industry, Craig has overseen the start-up of a greenfield mine site through to full operation, developed teams and businesses from scratch.
Civil and Rail Manager
Matt spent 10 years in mining and civil construction and was responsible for helping kick off Kennard’s Rail in 2013. Matt has been with EMS Group since October 2016, initially managing the labour hire division, then equipment hire.
Steve brings 10 years’ engineering, project and contract management experience to the Electrical Services division. He is a trade qualified electrician, specialising in commercial electrical installations, and has extensive experience working in the mining industry.
Jaimi has a background in training and finance and several years’ experience in mining, mechanical and engineering industries. She is responsible for business development, contract and relationship management within EMS Group’s Labour Hire division.
Pete is a heavy diesel mechanic by trade, comes from a highway trucking background and has also worked as a teacher. He joined EMS Group in 2011 and is highly respected and regarded among his team and clients. Pete and his team in the EMS Workshop cover a broad spectrum of the trade, from trucks, field service work, light vehicle and 4WD, through to earthmoving and construction equipment and major machine rebuilds.
WA Business Manager
Ray has more than 30 years’ experience in the underground mining industry. A fitter/mechanic by trade, Ray has held major roles in various mining maintenance and management positions. His focus on client success and ability to realise opportunities add value to client relationships.
Tunnelling Operations Manager
Kevin has more than 30 years’ experience in tunnelling, drilling and construction and been involved in some of Australia’s most significant tunnelling projects. These include Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel and many other highly complex critical transport and infrastructure projects across Victoria, Queensland and NSW.
Scott has over 30 years’ experience in the underground and surface metalliferous mining industry. His experience includes Maintenance & Asset Management of both Mobile and Fixed Plant equipment fleets.
Scott’s focus is on ensuring that the right equipment is always available on schedule, safe, reliable and on budget.
