As part of our change of look is a real notion of actively working with our community. We are taking a sustainable approach to all aspects of our business, our staff, our processes and planning to impress this upon our community through local events, charity, sponsorships and partnered programs to realise this. By having a greater focus on community support and sustainability, the viable future of the organisation and our community is increased; we hope to be inspiring for other young business owners starting out through showing the example of starting a company with two blokes and a ute grow to a community immersed, future focussed and proactive company.
EMS has been involved in a variety of community events and teams within the region, such as being a major sponsor of the Dubbo parkrun, a sponsor for the Dubbo Stampede and supporters of the Dubbo CYMS and Cobar Roosters football teams. Furthermore, EMS was a supporter of the Clare’s Angel ball in 2014, donates monthly to the Red Cross, and is involved with the Cancer Council, with our Director taking part as a dancer in the Stars of Dubbo Dance for Cancer, 2015 raising funds and awareness for this organisation.

The Tri for Charity is an event targeted at local businesses to encourage their staff members to join together as team and compete in a short triathlon. The event consists of a 500m swim, 18km ride and 4km run, with a staff member running 1 each! The event is designed to raise awareness for the nominated charity, promote community involvement for local businesses and foster team environments within those businesses.
